Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation which operates through the local community to provide an opportunity for young people to experience a wide range of sporting and cultural activities before concentrating and specialising in those most suitable and attractive to them.

Keep Clare Clean Competition 2011 Print

Golden Vale Milk Clare Community Games Keep Clare Clean Awareness Project

Promoted in co-operation withClare County Council & Shannon Development

The purpose of this project is to encourage young people (Under 6 through to Under 14) to use their creativity and imagination to highlight the need and importance of keeping our community and county clean and free from all types of litter. Thanks to Cecilia O'Sullivan for once again co-ordinating this competition.

This year’s competition took the form of a poster or a poem. 1st & 2nd from each age group, from each category in each area went forward for county adjudication.  Exhibition and presentations at Ennis Urban Council offices, Waterpark House, Drumbiggle, Ennis on Fri Dec 2nd @ 8pm.
