Draughts is a mixed competition catering for Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 age groups. A panel consists of 7 (5 players, 2 subs). The panel may be all boys, all girls or mixed.
Each of the 5 competitors plays two games each, with 1 point awarded for a draw, 2 for a win and 0 for a loss. The team with the highest score wins the match.
Competitors must be under the age limit on 31st July in the year of competition.

The winning teams go through to represent Clare in the Munster Finals, around March, and the winners of that progress to the National Finals in May.
