The Hardcourt Tennis competition is a Mixed competition catering for U/13 & U/16 years.
A panel will consist of 10 (5 boys and 5 girls).
Hardcourt Tennis will be played according to the rules of the I.L.T.A. except where amended by Community Games Rules.
A team will consist of 3 boys and 3 girls. A team must field 6 players at the commencement of the match. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
All games will be the best of 3 sets and all 3 sets may be played.
The format of a match will be - girl’s doubles, mixed doubles, boy’s doubles in that order.
The boys or girls playing in the doubles must not play in the mixed doubles.
The referee must be given in writing before the match, the order in which members of each team will play. The order may be changed for a subsequent match.
Coaching during a match either vocally or by signal will incur disqualification.
The winning team from each county progresses to the Munster finals in July.
