The Golden Vale Milk Clare Community Games Under 16 Pitch & Putt competition took place last Saturday 4th June in glorious sunshine at the Halfway House Pitch & Putt course in Ennis. Thanks to the Halfway House for providing the venue and to Jimmy Maher and Connie Corry who did an excellent job organising the competition. Well done to the winning teams, Doora/Barefield Boys and Ennis St John's Girls, who progress to the National Finals in Athlone in August.

The Pitch and Putt competition is a team event for both U/16 Boys and Girls.
Competitors must be under the age limit on 31st July in the year of competition.
The panel consists of 5, all of whom may play. The top 3 scores from each team contribute to the overall team score.
Full pitch and putt rules are available from the Community Games website.
The winning team from each county progresses to the National finals at the first of the two weekends in August.
