The area once again did well in the Art and Model Making competition in February.  And well done to the four draughts teams from Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry who did us proud in Tulla on Sat 25th Feb, returning home with Silver (u12), Bronze (u10b, u14) and Certs (u10a). See County Draughts Results. During March the area got Silver medals in the Mini Rugby and had some success in the Talent Show. In April, the U10 GAA Football competed against Shannon in a hard fought contents - many thanks to Kevin Greene and assistants for providing weekly training for the lads.

Successes in 2011

Last season was another successful one for the area, with the U16 Variety and U13 Rounders teams scooping 4th place medals in the Athlone National Finals in August.  The area was well represented at the National Finals in May with Gold & Silver in Model-Making and Silver in the U16 Project competition.  Many more took part in local area and county events, especially the local art & model making competition, the local talent show and the local and county athletics field day.
