The Swimming competition has individual and team events for both Boys and Girls from U/8 up to U/16.
Competitors must be under the age limit on 31st July in the year of competition.
Full Swimming rules are available on the Community Games website.
The winners from each county progress to the National finals at the first of the two weekends in August.

The Golden Vale Milk Clare Community Games Swimming Finals were held at the Ennis Leisure Complex on Friday last 14th May. Over 50 races were needed to decide the 26 events, with over 250 children taking part. Medals were presented by County Chairman Fiach McHugh, who paid tribute to Clare McGrath and her team on another brilliantly-run competition. Gold medal winners in each event qualify for the National Finals in Athlone in August. Area secretaries should get their birth certificates to Mary Phelan as soon as possible.
