Munster Finals - Shannon - 12th July

Munster Outdoor Games: Sat 12th July, Shannon. Sat 28th June preliminaries took place in UL South Campus .
Sat 12th July in Shannon: Gaelic Football, Hurling, Camogie, Outdoor Soccer, Tag Rugby, Rounders, Throwball Rounders, Skittles.
Events will take place at Wolfe Tones GAA Club, St Senan's Rugby Club, Shannon Hibernians Football Club, St Conaire's School and Shannon Athletic Club.
With exception of the Skittles Throwing area (concrete), all surfaces are natural grass.
Main event FREE parking will be on Shannon AC grounds between St Senan's Rugby Club (V14 NN33) and Wolfe Tones Camogie Pitch.
Parking areas within Wolfe Tones, St Senan's RFC and Shannon Hibernians will be reserved for Officials and Event Volunteers.

Draws, full schedule and pitch layout map are available below. Note that times may vary slightly from shown, so please re-check a few days prior to travelling.
Counties will be collecting a fee of €10 per child competing as per names entered on ORS as of event closing date. If a team or child pulls out after the closing date, they will be still be liable for the fee. There are NO entry or gate fees on the day at any of the Shannon venues.
All teams MUST be accompanied by a Garda vetted area volunteer/manager.
Note that there are no playoffs for 3rd or 4th place at Munster Finals events.
Teams should arrive 30 minutes before their first game is scheduled to start.
All managers have to give their contact mobile number to their coordinator on check in.
Programmes with full draws and team member names will be available for purchase (€2) on arrival at the main event car park in the Shannon Athletic Club grounds.
Food outlets will be available in Wolfe Tones GAA Clubhouse and there will be a Hungry Lyons food truck in Shannon Hibernians FC. Tea, coffee, drinks and snacks will also be available from the St Senan's RFC hatch and the Tuck Shop will be in operation on Wolfe Tones field. Other commercial food outlets are available in Shannon Town Centre, Hotels (Treacy's Oakwood and Shannon Springs) and at McDonalds. There will also be an ice cream van and take away van in the vicinity of Wolfe Tones and Shannon Hibernians.
Visitors to Shannon should park at the Shannon AC grounds which is between St Senan's Rugby Club (V14 NN33) and Wolfe Tones Camogie Pitch.
From Limerick Side: Take the first exit off N18 to Shannon on R471. Take left at first roundabout, past Shannon Springs Hotel and turn left at lights where Shannon Aviation Museum is located. Follow signs for Crematorium and marshals will direct you to parking area(s).
From Clare Side: Take the main Shannon Airport exit off N18 and take second left at roundabout to Shannon Town Centre. Proceed straight across town centre roundabout and turn left at mini-roundabout after Town Park and then right past Leisure Centre and Gaelscoil and finally right again towards Camogie picth where marshals will direct you to parking area(s).
There will be an information stand at Shannon AC grounds where programmes will be available and stewards can direct you to where matches are taking place.

Come to Shannon early and take part in one of the most scenic and friendliest parkruns in Ireland: Illaunmanagh parkrun - which starts at 9:30am every Saturday near the Crematorium.
Visit the Shannon Aviation Museum and discover the rich historical treasure of Irish aviation.
Pop-in to the Shannon Leisure Centre for a swim or to use the children's playground or skate park outside the Leisure Centre.
Visit the Shannon Town Park near the Leisure Centre. This has a pump track, an outdoor playground with large net climbing frame and a zip line.
Find a movie and relax with some popcorn in the Omiplex Cinema in the Town Centre (where there is free parking in the multi-storey car park).
How about some Foot Golf - checkout Munster Footgolf on the outskirts of Shannon - they also have a brand new crazy golf course on site.
Or, if you just prefer a stroll, take a walk along the Shannon Estuary, which is dotted with outdoor exercise machines for the more energetic.
